Averell Mortimer is the Founder, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Arden Asset Management LLC. He is also Chairman of Arden’s Investment Committee and a member of Arden’s Executive Committee. Before founding Arden in 1993, Mr. Mortimer worked in a variety of investment fields, including investment banking, venture capital, and investment management. Mr. Mortimer has leveraged his extensive Wall Street experience and relationships to catapult Arden into a leading hedge fund specialist and he continues to obtain high quality third-party providers and partnerships for the firm and all its products.
Mr. Mortimer holds a B.A. from the University of Colorado and an M.B.A. from Columbia University’s School of Business.
