Arden’s president, Henry P. Davis, moderated a panel at the SALT conference in Las Vegas on the evolution of liquid alternatives and ETFs. Davis led the team that launched Arden’s first mutual fund in 2012 and is the CEO of Arden Investment Series Trust. Other panelists included Nadia Papagiannis, the director of Alternative Investment Strategy at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Bill Ahmuty of State Street Global Advisors, Bobby C. Brooks of Invesco PowerShares, and David Lindenbaum of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc.
Now in its fifth year, the investment conference hosted by SkyBridge Capital and known as SALT has grown to more than 1,800 participants. This year’s Las Vegas event featured keynote speakers such as Home Depot co-founder Ken Langone, former Prime Minister of Greece George Papandreou and economist Nouriel Roubini.
